How does eScrip work?
Parents, teachers, friends, and families can register their credit, debit, and grocery club cards with the eScrip program. When these cards are used to make a purchase with participating merchants, the eScrip program donates a certain percentage of the purchase to the SCCYS.

How do I register?

1. Use your web browser to go to www.escrip.com.
2. Click on the "sign up" link.
3. Designate "Santa Cruz County Youth Symphony" to receive your contributions. The SCCYS Group ID is 500004321.
4. Register your grocery club card from a participating merchant and your debit/credit cards.

Will eScrip allow others access to my personal information?
eScrip uses grocery club cards or debit/credit card numbers and records of purchases soley to process the contributions generated by the purchases. Card numbers are kept confidential by eScrip and are disclosed only to participating merchants to calculate rebates. In addition:

• eScrip will not sell or rent any personally identifying information about program participants to any third parties.
• Purchase activity is not shared between merchants in the program.
• Purchase item details are not sent to eScrip. eScrip receives only subtotals from merchants.
• www.escrip.com is a VeriSign Secure web site. All information sent to this site is encrypted, protecting against disclosure to third parties.

I am already registered with eScrip. How can I add SCCYS to my contribution list?
Go to the eScrip web site (www.escrip.com) and use the Add/Change form to add SCCYS to your list of donation recipients. You can specify what percentage of each donation goes to each group.
